All the leather which is chosen for the sector of the car & boat & furniture and aircraft, undergoes a special treatment in order to ensure quality, which is a guarantee for its endurance to extreme climate conditions, as well as to the use conditions it will be exposed to. The high temperatures, which develop during the summer months, as well as the respective low temperatures of the winter are the most important enemies of leather.
All the leather used comes from calves. Although the thickness of the calf leather is quite big, which means that it can be divided into many layers, only the first layer is suitable for the coating. This first layer of leather has the natural membrane with the skin pores and the animal hair, which make it extremely resistant, smooth at contact and functional.

During its treatment this leather is placed in a big barrel, where it is stirred for 48 hours, in order to become softer, while the color for its dyeing is also placed in the same barrel. The first layer of the calf leather is the only one that can endure the above procedure, and it is the Exclusive and AA quality leather quality, while its price, in relation to its treatment, is quite high.
After that follow the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th leather quality which remain and are called crutes. As the crutes have no pores, they cannot breathe, so if the are placed, although they do not qualify for that use, (their life duration is limited and they are torn easily), they offer no comfort as they freeze in the winter and they get overheated in the summer. Leather specialists believe that it is not acceptable to use this leather quality. Regarding its treatment it is not placed in a barrel as the AA quality leather, but it is pressed to obtain folds visually similar to the ones of the first quality, and after that it passes from special becks, which dye it with plastic colors, in order to get the natural touch of real leather, while in the substance it is plastic made leather. This type of leather will be destroyed in a short period of time, in contrast to Exclusive and AA quality leather which has a life period of at least 5 - 7 years.

This leather does not crack and is not dried under the sun, it does not lose its color - it does not flake and, most important, it does not make you sweat or freeze in relation to the temperatures, thanks to its natural pores.
Before forwarding it to the commerce, it undergoes tough tests in order to ensure its absolute quality.
